There are lots of things you can do along a pathway to make it interesting.

The low Arched Bridge can span dry creek beds, wet streams, sand moats, rock beds, or mosaic rivers, and are a neat way to break up a path, provide a different sense of place, create a landmark, create a different sound, and so on.

This playground bridge is also great for dramatic play, so this could be a Billy Goat Gruff bridge, friendly monsters under the bridge, etc :) When kids stomp on the bridge, it makes a nice hollow sound.

Shown here is our simple, 2’ x 4' low-arched bridge with a rail and top deck made with child-friendly treated lumber. The rail itself is usually a replicated wood material that flexes.

The wooden bridge itself comes pre-assembled, ready for use out of the box (unless they’re super long or the rails too high for the shipment), in which case it will be easy to assemble on site.
