We designed the Long Jump after watching kids at an elementary school run fast for 100' so they could take a "leap" off a little 6" high ridge! (six inches!)

They lined up, and did it over and over again!! Talk about exercise! :)

So we figured: let's make a real run, a real jump, and a landing zone, and see what happens.

We were amazed! Suddenly kids were doing long leaps and jumps. Kids who never ran before started running and leaping. Kids who didn't know how to handle the momentum of a running jump suddenly understood the physics of momentum and adjusted accordingly.

It was all very exciting!
